Unbroken Horizons

Everyday is my fortunate day.  I'd like to share it with you the 'mana' of the island of Hawaii.  Our true power is our ability to generate and beam love.  Own it.  Look at the gallery and you will feel the spirit that moves this land.  The waters and the earth are two heavy elements that merge into our souls and keep us balanced.  The following chant and/or poem is dedicated to Kumu Keala Ching who is teaching the children of the Big Island to appreicate the land and sea, and also to us here and now, so that we may respect our land and learn to preserve what we have.

Wai ola

Ua ka ua, Ua ka ua, Ua iho mai Ka wai ola, Ua iho mai Ka wai ola e.

Ho 'olono.  Ho 'olono.  Ho 'olono Ka leo on Kupuna.

Ola a Ku ma 'ee.  Eo Ka wai ola.  Ola ma 'ema 'e.  I hola Ka Pono 'ole

I hola Ka pono 'ole!  I hola Ka Pono 'ole! E Ola! E Ola!

Eo Kai wai ola, Eo Kai wai ola.

(Water of Life)

It rains upon the land, It rains upon the land.

As it falls, it becomes the water of life.  Rain brings life!

Listen... Listen... Listen to the voices of the ancestors.

Live and stand cleansed.  Rejoice!  The water of life.

A life once pure when we were innocent.

Release the negative... Let it go!

Let it go! Let it go!  To Life!  To Life!

Rejoice!  The water of life!  Rejoice!  The water of life!
